So dark the con of man

okay..I'm at least a few weeks late in posting any reactions to about The Da Vinci Code..the movie and the book..I watched it last last weekend and I wasn't feeling good after the movie..huhu..maybe because of stress prior to the movie..haay..even if I was physically tired, I enjoyed the movie.

The Arts and scenery was splendid as it took the watchers to another level of awe..You can imagine that splendor especially if you have read the book before watching the film itself.

The actors were perfect and fit for their role too..silas and his company..the evil ..and the good side of Robert and Sophie would make you anticipate the next twist even if I already know the whole story by heart!hehe..

About other issues regarding the movie..first which is the block out or to ban the release the movie somewhat drew a hint of annoyance. This movie is just like any other movie that may be true and may be not depending on the person's belief. The people up there should not supress the freedom of the people from watching this film and having the chance to understand more about the fiction which may lead to the truth. Personally, I believe that this is a good way for Christians to explain our side and make known who Chirst really is..It is a time for debate..or opening up of any issues in that matter.

"It is clear that the contents of the film are acts of blasphemy and the government should not allow its distribution in a country where Jesus is accepted as Allah's (God's) prophet," Shareef Mahomed, secretary-general of the Muslim Association of Malawi, told AFP.

What do you make of that statement? well, I'm not in any position to say its wrong. Everyone has their right to the freedom of speech..

The 6th week

Haay..we are on our 6th week so thats 5 x 6 which is 30 working days na and..um..30 days x 8 hours which should make around 240 hours already! waw..parang ang bilis talaga ng pahahon..so..just to summarize what we've done so far,

Nakagawa na ng project descrition
presented the inital draft to Ms. Lissa
Made an ERD chart
Made a storyline for the comics
Made a dummy webpage for the portal's looks
Completed the forms
Searched online municipality's sites for more info
Continued documentation on daily tasks
Had several group meetings
Blog constantly..ano pa ba?hhm..yun..hehe

Call Center Dudes

Pwede na nuh?hehe..call center na 'to! haha..pero seryoso, this day..masaya kaming lahat coz may internet connection kahit paputol putol..

Futsal TOurnament na di natuloy..huhu..

Haay..maximum stress na naabot namin last sunday because of this futsal tournament. First, the venue was not verified by the admin to its subordinates and they didn't even know that we were coming there. And there were teams that didn't showed up due to a number of reasons.

Only one was acceptable..because their car broked down on the highway and there was no way to contact them! haay..ayun..then at least the team that was already at the place early didn't get mad when we told them that the tournament will be moved and that time, they won't have to pay any registration fee, the 2 futsal DUNLOP balls will even be given to them..

anyway, even if it turns out so bad, they still wanted to play a fun game..hehe..below are the photos and the photo of the window was when a guy kicked the ball too hard that it landed to shatter a window panel..huhu..we would have to pay for it! damn..

Emergency room

Last night I was in the emergengy room because one of my pet guinea pig almost died! waahh..my mom came inside shouting that my cutie was not moving anymore and we saw it shivering..huhu..I felt a stab inside my heart as I saw this cutie suffering..

I figured out that it was my dad's fault! hhmmpp...he sprinkled a lot of water on them while he was watering the plants that's why maybe the guinea pigs got a fever or something..at least not all of them..just one!

We quickly dried it up with a hair dryer and seprated it from the other 2 then we gave it some paracetamol syrup..and thank God it is back to normal right now..happily squeaking again..whew..what a relief!

Awarding night yesterday at Wack Wack Golf Club and..masayang masaya akong umuwi coz I won the 2nd runner up sa ladies division..ayun, unti lang din kasi kami naglaro for the ladies division that's why I had the chance to win..anyway, effort din yun! hehe..

The Classic Cup! ^^

That's our flight! 4 na LaSallian all together coz all other mga taga Ateneo are late..hehe..so they had no choice but to fix a flight na all La Sallians then may marker nalang kami who was responsible to score.

Overall, our game was not that good..at least not the best of our scores pero we had fun and we managed to catch up sa back nine. We tee- off at around 7:20 and finish a little past 12.

So..we are all anticipating the awarding night tomorrow! It will be held at Wack-Wack! ang layo layu..pero punta parin kami! hehe

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers!

I chose this poem to reflect my feelings for today because I myself lost my biological mom when I was still little but still she lives in my heart. Although I've never really remembered her in any way..I will always feel her love for me through the many people that cares for me!

LaSalle - Ateneo Golf Tournament at Canlubang GOlf!!

Ayan! excited na ako sa tournament tomorrow at kinda nervous also! hehe..me, lahaina..fredrick and others are playing for DLSC..haha..asa pa kami!
waw..ang dami daming magagaling na young golfers sigurado pero our hopes are still high parin..hehe..coz me and hainz are playing in the handicap division and marami akong baong handicaps! heheh..

anyway, Good luck sa amin and sana good news! If not, we will still enjoy the tournment! nice exposure ^.^

New name for Governement portal Project

Rain rain go away!! never come again! wah..typhoon days..and what I hate about typhoon days is the brownout moments..nothing to do..wah..just to empty the battery of my laptop..my cellphone..and any else that I can tinker with! Well, what's nice about brownout times is the silence and this is a good opportunity to *think..and * think about things that you have always wanted to think about..haha..

Ayun, I thought of some names for the government portal:

- Igloo station
- Martyr's Hub
- Hub of Verserk
- Service Portal

I don't know which sounds better..just to give a little difference to the existing name.." government portal"

*the time keeper *

Ayan..that's one of the things we always look at..not because we want to get out of work but maybe because of two reasons..one is that there's so many things to do but so little time and maybe because of waiting in vain!waheheh...you guys know what I mean..Thinking about the 720 hours just makes me wonder what else we can possibly achieve na parang the time is too short for any project and maybe too long for planning..well, we are our own time keeper..I do hope we positively keep the time that we are given..anyway, 3 weeks palang..there's plenty of room to make up for the lost time.

1st week sa portal

Almost a week na me dito sa school nag oojt and mas ok talaga here..everything is better. I'm still adjusting thou in the tasks assigned to our team because it need some research and some "thinking" time to accomplish it. As of now, what I've been doing are to "study" and not just read the blogs @ Merlin's Foundry..edit the project description and make a draft of the business model..tsaka..gumawa ng survey form about the government ID..which needs to be edited pa..ayun..hehe..

the end of my first internship =(

wah..first entry and its a sad story already..anyway, here I'm at the second to the last day of my stay at China Airlines. It was at first an abrupt decision to change my OJT place but I've given it some time to think.

The result? well, I've always wanted to work for an airline however it was not what I thought it would be. Of course, I'm just new here..what more could i expect?

Overall, I enjoy my stay here because I experienced a lot of work assisting at the Sales Department. Some of my jobs include the ever loved..photocopying and faxing..hehe..but of course its not just that..it was a lot of faxing and photocopying.

Other things I did here was the checking of the booking per flight per passenger. This is an everyday task of 2- 3 flights of MNL- TPE or MNL - KHH. I have to use the office system what they called ECOS and retrieve every passenger's data then check where they book their ticket and if it is one way or round- trip and where their final destination is. After this, we would have to tally it and the data everyday will be recorded into a statistical data for sales development.

Whether they will increase or decrease the fare or if its timely to push a promo...etc..at first I was only assisting in doing this but later on I was trusted to do it all by myself especially when others were to go on a sales call and I will be left here all afternoon...

Another task that was assigned to me was to translate some documents from chinese to english. The documents were about some new plans and new flight adjustment. It will be used as reference for our upper management. I was surprised thou that she ( manager) didn't understand chinese..I thought people here knows chinese..well, at least this is one task that I prove to useful..and only I can do that here in our department..haha.. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h29/gwen902/IMGP6609.jpg

The most tiring job I experienced here ( aside from staring at the ceiling..) was the tele- marketing..i had to call over a hundred travel agencies saying the same things over and over again..hehe..I was asked to inquire whether they send any recruits to Abu Dhabi and their fax number. ayun.. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h29/gwen902/IMGP6618.jpg

So, why did i decide to leave here? um..its mainly because I grew tired of my idle times. I hate wasting my time doing nothing although I've tried to read..write..draw..and etc..but its not what I wanted. I wanted to do something more than that. I cannot demand thou because they are all busy. .well, the timebomb has exploded..I've given enough time to think about it..I hope my next destination will prove better..:-)
